Heel the Heroes, Inc. is diligently pursuing land and property to establish an innovative center in the rolling hills of central / southern Texas within a serene atmosphere. Providing the feeling of “getting away” is extremely conducive to healing and recovery for those dealing with Post-Traumatic Stress, and Traumatic Brain Injury symptoms.

With a four legged “battle buddy” to be of comfort even when there is a need to be alone, Heroes will aim to recover, reclaim, and refine their lifestyle to empowerment.

There will always be unconditional love and support within the safety of our programs. As Heroes learn how to be competent with a canine, they will receive the therapeutic attributes of our specially trained facility dogs, and gain knowledge of themselves in ways that will give insights to troubled relationships, teach acceptance of their past, and much more.

Improving quality of life and empowering heroes are our main goals. Heroes will be empowered by having fun, being innovative and living by values including, loyalty, integrity and service. Living these values will help create a loyal atmosphere, positive engagement, and integration / adaptation.
